| Pauly D's Custom Benz
When world renowned club DJ and reality TV star DJ Pauly D was looking for an upgrade to his aftermarket audio system in his custom Mercedes S550, he turned to Sound FX.
We have had the pleasure of working with Pauly D in the past and were thrilled to head up the audio upgrades for his already custom vehicle. A new Plexiglas, vehicle specific enclosure was built and fitted with three JL audio 12w6's. The enclosure was tuned perfectly to complement the JL Audio C5's in the front and rear of the cabin. Pauly's logo was etched in the Plexiglas on our CNC router and edgelit with blue LED's. The amplifiers were upgraded to Rockford Fosgate Power Series amplifiers ... 2500 watts to the subwoofers alone!!! The custom enclosure and custom amp rack was then shrouded in black suede. The amp rack was fitted with a Plexiglas cover with the Mercedes logo cutout for ventilation and of course more LED lighting was added. The finished product resulted in a system that not only looks great but has harder hitting, more reliable bass than Pauly previously had. Take a look below at the completed work. | |
